fatalism and determinism

favoring the power of the mind over serendipity, i've always believed that we are the product of what we think, feel and do.

heck, in the past, determinism had catapulted men to heights beyond the imaginable, or so i thought.

in light of current events where a perfect effort or perhaps near to that, has been made, it makes me wonder why could things still fail.

fate, destiny, whatever you wanna call it, is the prerogative of the Greater Being. divine saying and experience have taught me that we can strive to plan and act, but the final say comes from Allah swt.

life is not entirely fatalistic or deterministic. u can't leave everything to fate, and u can't take everything in your own hands.

it is a balance of both where we must first put our faith in Allah swt, strive for action, and then hope for the best from Him.

this way, arrogance won't transpire during the achievement of success and despair will not apprehend us at the height of catastrophe. balance.
